Job Summary:

We're seeking a motivated and connected Contractor Relations & Social Media Specialist who will serve as a key link between our store and local contractors, builders, and remodelers. This role will also lead our local social media presence—sharing projects, promotions, and engaging with our growing customer base online.

Key Responsibilities:

Contractor & Trade Network Development

• Leverage your existing network of contractors, builders, and trade professionals to drive business partnerships and store traffic.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local professionals, acting as their go-to contact at the store.
• Coordinate special contractor events, workshops, and appreciation days.
• Stay current with contractor needs and trends in the home improvement industry.

Social Media & Marketing

• Create and manage content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) showcasing products, store promotions, customer projects, and educational tips.
• Monitor and engage with online audiences in real-time, answering questions and building brand loyalty.
• Collaborate with the team on in-store promotions and campaigns, and bring them to life online.
• Track engagement metrics and adjust strategy as needed to grow our digital presence.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working in or around the home improvement, construction, or contractor industry.
• A strong network of trade professionals in the local area.
• Demonstrated success managing business social media accounts (bonus if you can show examples!).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-starter who can take initiative and work independently.
• Basic photography/videography skills and comfort being on camera is a plus.
