Job description

Gordian is seeking a Contractor Outreach Specialist to recruit, educate, and grow our construction partners participating in Job Order Contracting (JOC). You will be instrumental in creating valuable contractor relationships by leading outreach, recruitment, and awareness efforts about Gordian and its value proposition. This role is remote, and we are looking for candidates to join our fast-growing team immediately!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead contractor outreach activities in your assigned territory, including target list development, publicizing bid opportunities, executing calls and emails, and leading contractor info sessions (virtual and live).
  • Manage responsibilities and coordinate cross-functional participation during outreach.
  • Generate interest from contractors to drive acquisition and retention.
  • Expand our outreach network through research and collaboration.
  • Maintain contractor information in Salesforce.com.
  • Plan outreach around bid opportunities strategically.
  • Lead educational sessions and explore innovative engagement strategies beyond traditional webinars.
  • Track KPIs and facilitate problem-solving when needed.
  • Optimize outreach efficiency and improve standard processes to communicate our value effectively.
  • Utilize Fortive Business Systems (FBS) tools for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Customer-obsessed, proactive, adaptable.
  • Proven results delivery, meeting deadlines.
  • Construction industry experience or knowledge, especially as a general contractor or subcontractor, is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills; strong presentation abilities.
  • Empathy for contractors and passion for simplifying their complexities.
  • Problem-solving and innovative thinking to meet contractors’ evolving needs.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Experience with Salesloft and Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Business Development experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
