Job description

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility, Westridge Marine Terminal, with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

As a Contractor Compliance Analyst with Trans Mountain, you will have the opportunity to work with a progressive and fast-paced group of Compliance professionals.

The Contractor Compliance Analyst will be responsible for interacting with Trans Mountain’s contractors, analyzing qualification submissions to ensure compliance, identifying areas that need support, preparing and analyzing reports, and collaborating with the software vendor (ISN) to promote the effectiveness of the Contractor Competency Assurance Process (CCAP).

This position can be based in Burnaby, BC, Edmonton or Calgary, AB.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Correspond with hiring managers and contractors to :

Facilitate issuance of CCAP Permits to track and ensure CCAP has been applied to all relevant scopes of work.

  • Promote compliance with CCAP by setting and communicating expectations.
  • Troubleshoot, and provide training and support.
  • Update and analyze daily CCAP reports identifying trends requiring outreach or escalation.
  • Maintain a repository of contractor qualification specifications (CQS), analyzing and standardizing input from subject matter experts, revising and configuring CQS’s in ISNetworld.
  • Audit qualification records provided by contractors to ensure alignment with CQS requirements.
  • Interface with ISN’s support team to administer Trans Mountain’s ISNetworld account including :

Managing Trans Mountain user accounts and permissions.

  • Maintaining contractor connections.
  • Troubleshooting and escalating issues.
  • Participating in feature analysis and implementation.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Training teams to ensure CCAP training and documentation requirements are aligned in ISNetworld.

Qualifications and Professional Experience :

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field such as compliance, management system development and implementation training and competency management, supply chain management; project management, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Post-Secondary Education in a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with ISNetworld would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with Information Management, Data Science, or Master Data Management would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with Power BI would be an asset.
