The Contingent Labour Office’s (CLO) mandate is to partner with the business to enable an expedited and customer-centric positive approach to engaging external resources, while balancing the commercial needs of the business with mitigating risk to the firm. This is achieved by:

  • Utilizing internal contingent workforce expert practitioners, who continuously expand their skills and remain up-to-date on market intelligence.
  • Acting as trusted advisors, to educate, challenge the status quo, and advise the business on creative solutions.
  • Delivering a customer-centric approach by minimizing administration efforts, anticipating needs, showing a ‘how can I help you’ attitude, and actively collaborating with Hiring Managers to deepen relationships.

Location: Anywhere in Canada; this is a virtual work opportunity (1-2 days in office per month may be required for meetings).

  • Promoting the CLO’s internal brand through a customer-centric delivery approach.
  • Facilitating intake conversations with Hiring Managers.
  • Providing training on request submissions within the vendor management system.

  • Conducting due diligence on resources.

  • Maintaining communication with stakeholders.
  • Documenting and maintaining records for reporting and compliance.
  • Identifying complex cases.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet business needs.
  • Responding to inquiries and requests efficiently.
Process Governance
  • Leading or contributing to process improvements.
  • Maintaining SOPs, forms, templates, and knowledge articles.
  • Ensuring policies and processes are well-documented and communicated.
  • Staying informed on contingent workforce legislation and policies.
What You Bring To The Role
  • 3-5 years’ experience in case management or similar roles.
  • Experience with staffing agencies, contract labor, or contingent workforce preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (bilingual preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience with vendor management systems like Flextrack or Beeline is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Experience with ServiceNow is an asset.
  • College or university degree in a relevant field.
