Overview

The Contingent Labour Office’s (CLO) mandate is to partner with the business to enable an expedited and customer-centric approach to engaging external resources, while balancing the commercial needs of the business with risk mitigation for the firm. This is achieved by:

  1. Utilizing internal contingent workforce experts who stay current on market intelligence.
  2. Acting as trusted advisors to educate, challenge the status quo, and advise on creative solutions.
  3. Delivering a customer-centric approach by minimizing administrative efforts, anticipating needs, and fostering strong relationships with Hiring Managers.

Location: Anywhere in Canada (virtual work opportunity, with 1-2 days in office per month for meetings).

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Leader of the CLO, the Contract Specialist will manage processes related to external resources across Canada, handling over 1000+ external resources annually, from individual contractors to large organizations. The role involves ensuring operational excellence through process improvements, technology updates, and documentation.

The Specialist’s responsibilities include:

  • Applying technical expertise to support hiring managers in engaging external resources.
  • Utilizing technology to enhance the CLO experience and processes.
  • Maintaining documentation and supporting process governance.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management
  • Promoting the CLO’s brand through a customer-focused approach.
  • Facilitating intake conversations and providing system walkthroughs and training.
  • Gathering and assessing information for resource setup and management.
  • Conducting due diligence and maintaining stakeholder communication.
  • Documenting cases and monitoring for complexity flags.
Process Governance
  • Leading process improvements and managing related change activities.
  • Maintaining SOPs, forms, templates, and knowledge articles.
  • Ensuring policy and process accessibility and training stakeholders on updates.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience in case management roles.
  • Experience with staffing agencies, contract labor, or contingent workforce is an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ServiceNow and vendor management systems is an asset.
  • College or university degree in a relevant field.

This role requires fluency in English and may involve collaboration with English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.

Compensation

The base salary range is $54,000 to $81,000, potentially with bonuses, depending on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package.
