The Contract & Sales Support Analyst provides essential day-to-day operational support for client data agreements, sales processes, billing reconciliations, and market data guidelines. In this position, you will assist in drafting and updating client agreements, supporting the sales team, ensuring accurate billing and database maintenance, and helping drive operational efficiencies through AI and workflow automation.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with contracts, data, and market data concepts in a collaborative team environment, with a strong focus on compliance responsibilities and supporting the Datalinx Xpress program.

Key Responsibilities & Core Accountabilities

Contract & Sales Support Operations
  • End-to-End Contract Administration: Draft, review, execute, and maintain standard and custom client data agreements, schedule amendments, and subscriber applications in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines.
  • Order Processing & Account Setup: Manage key workflow stages within CRM (Salesforce) and billing systems to enable seamless client onboarding, service entitlement, and prompt invoicing.
  • Sales Enablement & Pipeline Assistance: Partner closely with Account Managers and Sales to process quotes, answer client inquiries regarding agreement terms, and expedite pipeline deals.
  • Billing & Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve contract-related billing discrepancies, fee schedule queries, and client entitlement adjustments in collaboration with Finance and Billing teams.
  • Database & Master Data Management: Maintain systematic accuracy of client agreement records, pricing models, product codes, and renewal dates across core enterprise databases.

Compliance Oversight & Client Governance

  • Contractual Governance: Help ensure client usage, redistributor reporting, and subscriber deployments align with signed market data agreements and standard guidelines.
  • Policy Interpretation & Guidance: Serve as an internal subject matter expert on market data licensing guidelines, non-display usage policies, and redistribution terms for internal sales and external clients.
  • Client Declaration Review: Review and validate periodic client declarations, self-audit forms, and vendor reporting statements to identify non-compliant usage or unmetered redistribution.
  • Remediation & Governance Reporting: Work with non-compliant clients to bring licensing arrangements into compliance, drafting corrective addendums and back-billing calculations as required.

Data Monitoring & Compliance Analytics

  • Usage & Entitlement Monitoring: Analyze client data feeds, access logs, and vendor reporting metrics to detect unexpected patterns, unaccounted usage spikes, or undeclared redistribution.
  • Compliance Analytics & Business Intelligence: Build and maintain analytical models using Excel, Power BI, or SQL to evaluate client reporting trends, identify potential revenue leakage, and map fee schedule effectiveness.
  • Benchmarking & Market Research: Monitor market data industry trends, competitor licensing practices, and evolving technical delivery mechanisms (e.g., cloud access, APIs) to inform risk models.

Audit Support & Controls Enhancement

  • Audit Execution & Compliance Assistance: Support internal governance reviews and external client compliance audit programs under Datalinx Xpress by compiling client contract histories, historical billing records, and reported entitlement counts.
  • Audit Reconciliation & Claims Support: Assist in reconciling third‑party auditor findings against historical client reporting, preparing audit settlement calculations and client remediation packages.
  • Internal Controls & Process Optimization: Proactively review existing contract and compliance workflows, recommending automated controls, documentation enhancements, and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
