Job description

Join to apply for the Contract & Risk Analyst | Western Canada role at TK Elevator.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing terms and conditions of bid documents, contracts (service/maintenance agreements, modernization agreements, new installation/construction agreements), and change orders.
  2. Negotiating and approving contract terms with sales representatives and customers.
  3. Supporting TKE projects and initiatives with regulatory, legal, or operational risk implications.
  4. Advising departments and customers on contractual rights and obligations.
  5. Administering insurance and bond request forms as needed.
  6. Assisting regional and branch representatives with drafting demand letters to non-paying customers and negotiating settlements.
  7. Reviewing and revising national agreements, preparing contract review guidance documents, and researching legislative updates and industry trends.
  8. Handling legal notices of delinquent accounts receivable issues and coordinating resolution.
  9. Performing legal research and administrative duties to support Legal, Compliance, Contracts & Risk Administration.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in law, legal administration, or paralegal studies.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in contract review and administration, preferably with construction contracts in Canada.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and ability to interpret legal language.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Offering: Salary range of $75,000 - $85,000.
