Job Title: Contract Professional

Overview:
The Contract Professional performs formal management of contracts with low to medium complexity, so that projects and ongoing operations are delivered safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

What you will be doing:

  • Supports auditing product requirements against operational processes for Affordability products and develops action plans to address identified deficiencies

  • Assists in identifying and developing lessons learned, understanding implementation challenges and success factors, and recommending changes to ensure continuous improvement and streamlining of operational processes for Affordability products

  • Collaborates with various departments to organize job-specific training sessions for new hires and existing employees within designated products

  • Coordinates bulk projects and ensures quality control of contractual obligations with multiple product delivery agents (PDAs) and FortisBC – Conducts quality control for fridge re-engagement applications

  • Manages weekly import/export of ECAP applications and reporting

  • Performs other ad hoc duties as required

  • Assists key account managers and cross-functional teams by maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering relevant progress updates through effective coordination and resource monitoring to support successful project implementation

  • Keeps all stakeholders informed of project progress by tracking tasks, providing status reports, and adjusting schedules and deliverables based on direction from key account managers and the reporting manager in response to shifting demands and priorities

What you must have:

  • College level program completion in Business, Economics, Communication, or related discipline

  • Good working knowledge of project management principles

  • Intermediate skills in computer applications such as SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project)

  • A minimum five (5) years of contract management work experience.

Salary/Rate Range: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour

Term: 12-month contract; most likely to extend
