Job summary

Frequentis Canada in Gatineau, Quebec, seeks a Network Communications Software Developer for a 6-month contract to design and maintain flight and air traffic related software. You will work on high-availability, real-time systems with a focus on reliability and usability.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering, 2-5+ years of software development experience, C++, Bash and Python skills, and experience with Docker/containers; English and French are a plus.

The Frequentis Canada officein Gatineau, Quebec, is looking for a dynamic individual to join our well-established team as a 6-month contract Network Communications Software Developer. As part of our team, you will design, develop and maintain products used in Air Traffic Management communication systems. Some of the duties will include designing software components that must comply with high availability requirements, real-time constraints and ease of use.

The position is based in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada and is open to Canadian Citizens, Canadian Permanent Residents and Foreign Workers that hold a valid Canadian Work Permit.

Compensation:

• $40-$90 an hour dependant on skills and experience
