Job summary

CS Group Canada is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and optimize complex C++ applications for safety-critical systems. You will work on LAD Counter-Drone System and collaborate with V&V and hardware teams.

The role requires 7+ years OO and 10+ years C++ experience, Linux proficiency, and experience with Git/Gerrit, TDD/BDD, and agile methods. Fluent French is preferred, English valued; hybrid work offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 7+ years in object-oriented software development.
  • 10+ years in C++ software development.
  • Proficiency with Google Test and QTest is required.
  • Experience with Linux environments (Ubuntu/Fedora assets).
  • Familiar with source versioning (Git, Gerrit).
  • Fluent in French; English knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum) is an asset.

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer:

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex software applications using C++.
  • Apply software development good practices and standards.

  • Familiar with source versioning (GIT, Gerrit)
  • Rigorous documentation writing;
  • Fluent in French, good knowledge of English as an asset;
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum) is an asset.
  • Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills
