Job Summary

Our Contract Manager, Strategic Accounts - LCBO will be responsible for achieving sales goals, market share, and profitability for the customer account, in accordance with Arterra Wines Canada's policies. This role involves managing customer relationships and executing portfolio priorities successfully. Strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset are essential to drive growth for our big brands and support our innovation ambitions. This is a 15-month contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver results for the account(s) in terms of revenue ($XM - $YM), market share, and CAM ($XM - $YM).
  • Present, negotiate, and ensure integration of corporate strategies such as growing core portfolios, launching new products, optimizing promos and omnichannel activations, and influencing distribution to meet corporate objectives while respecting customer profiles.
  • Lead cross-departmental teams to align on projects, strategies, and key issues, ensuring all customer deadlines are met. Collaborate with Sales Strategy teams on promotion strategies and budgets, and with Shopper Marketing to develop in-store programs for displays, product launches, and tastings.
  • Manage the budget for each account, utilizing insights and analytics to maximize ROI and ensure alignment with commercial strategies. Prepare and recommend forecasts to meet key metrics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external and internal customers to foster ongoing and increased market growth of Arterra Wines Canada products.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • University Degree
  • 6-8 years in Key Account Management and People Management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • WSET 2 or equivalent wine certifications

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Business Degree
  • Experience in Beverage Alcohol or Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Connections or experience with key customers
  • WSET 3 and / or other advanced wine certifications
Supervision

Number of reports: 1 or 2 (e.g., Account Manager, Listing Tender Analyst)

Working Conditions

Office environment with travel to customer sites.

Compensation : Budgeted range from $115,686 to $149,711, considering experience, education, licenses, certifications, and organizational requirements. Base pay is part of the total rewards package.
