Movable Ink’s Legal Team is looking for a highly motivated and organized team member to manage contracts and related processes across the company and assist with other important projects critical to Movable Ink’s legal, privacy and enterprise risk management needs. Among other duties, the Contract Manager will be drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and responding to customers’ inquiries. This person must be a great collaborator, capable of working closely with other departments to resolve issues and optimize the contract workflows. The role is a perfect fit for someone with a passion for technology, who is proactive in improving processes, enjoys multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment with dynamic needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end contracting process with an eye for improvement and optimization to align with the company's evolving needs.
  • Summarize and track key legal provisions in contracts and maintain an organized repository of executed agreements.
  • Draft and review a variety of commercial agreements, including Order Forms and NDAs to align with internal policies and company’s risk profile.
  • Partner with Sales, InfoSec and Finance to support the resolution of ad hoc commercial issues and contract execution.
  • Develop and periodically update contract playbooks.
  • Train internal departments on contract processes and best practices for engagement with Legal.
  • Manage and support other projects critical to company’s legal, privacy and enterprise risk management efforts.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years of paralegal and/or contract management experience, with a focus on drafting contracts and summarizing key legal provisions.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce, commercial sales processes and contract management systems, such as Docusign CLM.
  • Strong project management, record keeping and administrative skills.
  • Extremely organized, with excellent attention to detail and sense of project ownership.
  • Ability to work autonomously and keep deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with other departments.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international data privacy law is a plus.
