Job summary

Catholic Social Services in Edmonton, AB invites applications for a Contract Full-Time Job Developer for MOMentum at the Gianna Centre. You will build employer relationships and create inclusive employment opportunities for participants.

Working from a trauma-informed, strength-based approach, you will coordinate placements, deliver workshops, mentor participants, and ensure successful job matching and retention. The contract ends March 31, 2030.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Relations, Human Services, Employment Counselling, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum two years of experience in employment services, employer relations, community engagement, recruitment, or outreach roles; administrative experience is an asset
• Experience in building partnerships with employers or community organizations is preferred.
• Proficiency with social media platforms used for outreach (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain employer relationships and secure placements.
• Coordinate job placements, work trials, and onboarding processes.
• Support retention through regular follow-up and problem solving.
• Deliver workshops and employer presentations as needed.
• Coordinate outreach events and reports.
