The WorkReadyNH program at Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in contract teaching at the College in a classroom and online classroom setting.
To facilitate, present, instruct, and model the WorkReadyNH Soft Skills Competencies through content driven workshops, articles, discussions, role-plays, team building activities and engaging participants in a mock business simulation where participants take on the role of “employee”. The Soft Skills course consists of a minimum of sixty hours of soft skills training in a business workplace like setting. The Soft Skills curriculum addresses workplace competencies including: Interpersonal Skills & Teamwork, Integrity, Professional & Personal Acceptability, Initiative, Dependability & Reliability, Lifelong Learning, Communication and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The position is a contractual, temporary position for a specified contract period.
Education and Experience: A minimum of Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) from a recognized college or university with major in human relations, business, leadership, or related field or university with two years of training, teaching, or workshop presentation in the field of human relations, management, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and/or group dynamics. Comparable experience in workshop facilitation or motivational leadership can be considered. Experience with curriculum development a plus.
Pay rate is commensurate with experience and is assumed that instructors put in the necessary prep hours to prepare for instruction.
