This role involves full-cycle accounting, ensuring accurate reporting, and managing audit-ready financial information. The successful candidate will perform bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and support month-end closes. Ideal candidates will have 2–5+ years of accounting experience, strong expertise in bank reconciliations, and proficiency in QuickBooks. This is a 1-month contract with potential for extension.
Qualifications
2–5+ years of general accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or product-based organizations.
Strong expertise in bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
Familiarity with multi-currency accounting.
Knowledge of IFRS month-end reporting requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across CAD and USD accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
Support month-end close processes and preparation of working papers.
Reconcile inventory, COGS, and other manufacturing-related accounts.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
