Job Title: Contract Field Operator - Brant Farrow (RQ 25-15)

Are you interested in being part of a team that values excellence, safety, sustainability, and creativity?

We are seeking a Contract Field Operator for the Brant Farrow field, a busy site with an active drilling program. Reporting to the Area Foreman, you will operate and maintain field equipment, oversee daily operations, inspections, repairs, and ensure proper documentation. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with mechanical and computer skills.

Location: Near Vulcan, AB (Brant Farrow Field). Candidates must reside within 50 km of Mossleigh to be available for call-outs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in your work area.
  2. Perform safety tasks such as hazard assessments and lockout/tagout procedures.
  3. Optimize well and compressor operations, runtimes, and production.
  4. Coordinate outside services and provide guidance.
  5. Obtain necessary permits.
  6. Use personal protective equipment in accordance with standards and policies.
Reporting and Emergency Procedures:
  • Notify promptly about breakdowns, unsafe conditions, accidents, environmental incidents, or equipment losses.
  • Protect life, health, property, and the environment during emergencies.
  • Obtain approval from the Foreman before non-routine operations, modifications, or facility changes.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of direct operating experience preferred, including experience with refrigerant gas plants, compressor operations, oil batteries, and rod lift.
  • Valid vehicle operating license.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Basic computer, iPad, and tablet skills.
  • Reside within the Mossleigh area for call-out availability.
