Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • At least six years of experience in a medical setting.
  • Teaching experience is necessary.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system is essential.
  • Registration as a Health Information-Certified Associate (HICA) or willingness to obtain within a year.

Salary Range:

  • Hourly: $52.41-$114.65/hour
  • Per Three Credit Course: $7,947
  • Actual salary or hourly rate will be based on the number of credits and term of appointment according to the Collective Agreement.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least six years of experience in a medical setting, teaching experience, knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system, and registration as a Health Information-Certified Associate (HICA) or willingness to obtain it within a year.

Additional Information

The position is based at the Coquitlam campus, with contract faculty status. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2025.
