Douglas College invites applications for the position of Contract Faculty in Child and Youth Care. The role includes teaching courses and fostering a supportive learning environment for students. Hourly: $52.41-$114.65/hour; Per Three Credit Course: $7,947; Actual salary or hourly rate will be based on the number of credits and term of appointment according to the Collective Agreement.

As a faculty member, you will be required to instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in child and youth care courses. You will plan, organize and manage learning activities and resources, and maintain high quality learner-centred instruction. A faculty member is also required to work collaboratively with all CYC Department members. Involvement in Department and Faculty initiatives is encouraged.
