Qualifications

Your role within the team

As a member of the Toronto office's Contract Administration team, you will:

  1. Be responsible for contract administration of civil and highway construction projects.
  2. Supervise and direct field staff working on the project.
  3. Regularly liaise with clients on the progress of construction.
  4. Monitor contractor work for compliance with contract specifications and applicable safety and environmental legislation.
  5. Use the Ministry of Transportation Contract Management System (CMS) on MTO assignments.
  6. Mentor junior team members on various facets of site inspection.

The ideal candidate:

  • Holds a College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • Is registered and in good standing with PEO or OACETT as a C.E.T., C. Tech with RCSI or RCCA designation, or EIT, P.Eng.
  • Has a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience.
  • Has successfully completed MTO T131 Advanced Claims and Dispute Resolution Training Course and/or applicable refresher.
  • Is proficient in English (spoken and written).
  • Has a valid Ontario driver’s license class G with a good driving record and access to a vehicle.
