Job Summary :

Our architecture practice is seeking an experienced Intermediate Level Contract Administrator to join our team. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering contracts for architecture and construction projects, ensuring that project objectives are met within the agreed terms of the contract.

The ideal candidate will have experience with contract administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Administer and manage contracts for architecture and construction projects
  • Ensure that all contract terms and conditions are met by all parties
  • Review and analyze contract documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that contract requirements are being met
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation
  • Negotiate and resolve any contract disputes
  • Coordinate with legal counsel as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on contract administration best practices
  • Other duties as assigned by senior management

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration for architecture or construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in contract management software, such as Procore or Aconex
  • Familiarity with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
  • Understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient design principles
  • Experience with LEED certification a plus
