Job Title : Contract Administrator

Duration : 12 - 15+ months

Work type : Onsite

Pay Rate: $25 - $30.00 CAD per hour + applicable per diem

1.0 Description of position and specific skills required :

The Contract Administrator will support the contracts department at the client location for the next 2 years, assisting with backlog and high demand for contract execution.

2.0 Scope of work to be performed :

Reporting to the Supervisor of the Contracts Department, the Contract Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Performing contract administration functions throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Advising team members and contract owners on contract-related matters.
  • Tracking a portfolio of contracts to ensure timely procurement and administration activities.
  • Drafting RFPs for review and acceptance.
  • Performing change orders on existing contracts.

3.0 Preference will be given to candidates with :

  • A university degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of progressive experience in contract design, management, procurement, and administration for large projects.
  • Experience with commercial contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to prepare briefing notes and analyze data for management reporting.
  • Knowledge of New Brunswick procurement laws and regulations is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
