Job Title: Contract Administrator
Duration: 12 - 15+ months

Pay Rate: $25 - $30.00 CAD an hour + Applicable per day per diem
1.0 Description of position and specific skills required:
Contract Administrator, as per Resource Classification and Description of your contract. The position supports the contracts department at the client location for the next 2 years to manage the backlog and high demand for contracts.
2.0 Scope of work to be performed:
Reporting to the Supervisor of the Contracts Department, the Contract Administrator will:
- Perform contract administration functions throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Advise team members and contract owners on contract-related matters.
- Track a portfolio of contracts to ensure timely procurement and contract activities.
- Draft RFPs for review and approval.
- Perform Change Orders on existing contracts.
3.0 Preference will be given to candidates with:
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in contract management, procurement, and administration for large projects.
- Experience with commercial contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
- Ability to prepare briefing notes and analyze data for management reporting.
- Knowledge of New Brunswick procurement laws and standard methods; asset if familiar.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint.
