A Careers in Motion student will work with a dynamic team of business professionals within a Transportation and Logistics business unit. We are seeking a Business
Improvement Analyst Student to work with at the Transportation and Logistics Division in Saint John, New Brunswick. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced,
ever-changing environment while maintaining an elevated level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail.
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and be in positive academic standing.
Exceptional organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid driver's license and ability travel to offsite locations.
Experience working with Power BI. Alteryx, Microsoft Apps, Microsoft Automate, would be considered an asset.
Attention to detail, ownership, and willingness to seek and take on challenges.
Provide support to the diverse companies throughout the Transportation and Logistics Division.
Lead business improvement initiatives including process / operational improvements, digital transformations, or revenue generating projects.
Create, manage, and communicate project documentation to achieve objectives, including chartering, action plans / check ins and KPI tracking.
Conduct and utilize internal and external benchmarking to enhance internal processes for the business improvement team and our businesses.
Explore and analyze data to identify root cause issues and potential improvements to business processes.
