The Continuous Improvement Advisor acts as an expert within the Manufacturing Operations team. They are responsible for mapping and optimizing business and manufacturing processes, as well as supporting optimization and digitization initiatives. They play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and support leadership in strategic projects.

What is the ideal profile for this position?

  • University or college degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (6S, Kaizen, PDCA, Kata, 8D, etc.) and Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English at an advanced level.
  • Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written.
  • Analytical mindset, good judgment, rigor, sense of responsibility, and autonomy.
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, ability to simplify complex concepts, problem-solving skills, and capacity to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Visio.

As a Continuous Improvement Advisor what will your responsibilities be?

  • Map and optimize business and manufacturing processes, including planning and implementing improvements (Lean, Kaizen, 6S, etc.).
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain performance indicators, identify gaps, and propose action plans.
  • Coordinate and support continuous improvement projects, including facilitating workshops (A3, Kata, Kaizen) and developing tools.
  • Develop training materials, train staff on continuous improvement concepts, and support them in changing management.
  • Participate in drafting and updating work procedures, problem-solving, and validating quality standards.
  • Apply occupational health and safety standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.
