Continuing Care Assistant (CCA)/Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Schedule: Permanent full-time positions available

8-12 hour shifts (Days/evenings/nights)

Responsibilities

1. Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skin care, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing and grooming
2. Maintain confidentiality concerning residents, staff and organizational information
3. Work within the NSAHO Scope of Practice
4. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
5. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility infection control policies

Qualifications

1. Current Standard First-Aid and CPR certification
2. Successful completion or enrollment in a CCA/PSW program
3. Registered with the CCA Registry
4. Effective communication, both written and verbal in English
5. Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties
6. Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record

Salary: $19-$25 per hour
