Your Role

You will support clients in their homes, helping them maintain safety and independence. Responsibilities include personal care, assisting with mobility and light exercises, observing and reporting client conditions, and performing light housekeeping as per care plans. You will provide 1:1 care within the Musquodoboit region.

Qualifications
  • Certificates such as CCA, PCW, HHP, HHA, HSW, or related, including internationally trained nurses, retired nurses, or CCA students
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within last 12 months)
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license (Class 5 or 5N) and ability to travel within the community
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are an asset
  • Reliability, organization, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg)
