Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is seeking a Continuing Care Assistant to support patients at home, delivering personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance. You will travel between patients, helping with grooming, meals, and basic tasks to promote safe, independent living in the community.

Strong candidates have a CCA designation and experience in personal care, with a valid driver’s license and insurance preferred.

Qualifications

• CCA designation required.
• Experience providing personal care required.
• Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license and insurance strongly preferred.
• Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients (grooming, dressing, bathing).
• Travel between patients completing several home visits per day.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal-time.
• Assist with basic housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and support the well‑being of patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene care including showering and bathing.
• Support for basic activities of daily living.

What you’ll do:

• Provide personal care to patients(ie. Grooming, dressing, bathing, etc.)
