Bayshore is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Certified Care Assistants (CCAs) to join our esteemed team. The successful candidates will deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
  • Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
  • Administer personal care services according to care plan directives.
  • Ensure clients' emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety to the highest standards.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living tailored to their needs.
  • Perform specialized procedures with demonstrated current competency, following training.
  • Observe and document client conditions, reporting any changes or unusual events promptly.
  • Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices.

Job Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited CCA training program or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; French skills are an asset.
  • Ability to provide high-quality care with current community care practices.
  • Physical ability to assist with movement and repositioning, lift up to 23 kg, squat, bend, stand, and reach.
  • Reliable transportation; a driver’s license and vehicle are assets.
  • Ability to pass a clear Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
