Job summary

The University of Alberta School of Public Health invites applications for a contingent tenure-track Assistant Professor in Health Systems Leadership and Transformation at North Campus Edmonton. The candidate will lead program development for graduate certificates, provide academic leadership for evidence synthesis, curriculum and course design, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Strong record of rigorous, applied, and policy-relevant scholarship.
Experience working with health-system leaders, governments, and decision-makers.
Expertise in health systems management and leadership, health policy, evidence-informed decision-making, implementation science, program evaluation.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead graduate certificates aligned with a proposed Master of Health Systems degree.
Contribute to graduate education and course design in health systems leadership.
Lead engagement with partners to address priority health system questions.
Build and sustain externally funded, policy-relevant research programs.
Mentor learners applying evidence, policy, leadership, and systems thinking.
