Position Summary
The Content Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in driving awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement through high-quality, targeted content. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product marketing, sales, and customer success to develop and execute a content strategy that supports the entire B2B buyer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with company goals and target audiences in the B2B tech space.
- Research, write, and edit a variety of content types including blog posts, white papers, case studies, eBooks, landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, and more.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), product teams, and customers to turn technical or complex topics into compelling narratives.
- Optimize content for SEO using keyword research and best practices to increase organic visibility and drive web traffic.
- Manage and maintain the content calendar to ensure consistent delivery and promotion of content across channels.
- Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversion) and use data to iterate and improve.
- Support the creation of sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, pitch decks, and product sheets.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor content, and emerging B2B content marketing tactics.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B content marketing, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of published work.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, and lead generation funnels.
- Experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
