Job description

Based in Toronto and reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Content Specialist will play a vital role in developing a variety of marketing and communications pieces, including copy for print, web, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and edit content for materials such as project profiles, sales sheets, web content, presentations, and feature articles.
• Interview subject matter experts as needed for content development.
• Collaborate with the team to produce content that converts traffic into leads by understanding industry trends and client needs.
• Conduct research to clarify content requirements, gather insights, and source materials.
• Understand stakeholder needs, service offerings, and the AEC industry.
• Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistent voice aligned with client expectations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in content writing or related roles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
• Strong written communication skills and proven ability as a copy editor and writer for print and digital channels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of branding and voice communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in professional services, SEO, social media content creation, and CMS software.
