Job description

A WORD ABOUT US

We come from many different places, but what unites us is our passion. At Moment Factory, each new project is a blank page awaiting the creativity and talent of our whole team, no matter the individual responsibilities, roles, or fields. Our desire to innovate, to take risks, and to learn from our mistakes and from each other is what allows us to create collective projects that go above and beyond. Today, thanks to a team of 420 creative minds, we have been able to create immersive multimedia environments for artists, museums, airports, brands, theme parks and events, as well as our signature shows. No matter the canvas – be it film, lighting, multimedia architecture, sound design, special effects, or interactive projects – the thirst for experimentation and innovation is at the core of our DNA.

YOUR TEAM

As a Content Project Manager, you’ll begin your journey within the Center of Expertises, and more specifically, as part of the Production Management team. You’ll primarily work on projects from the Originals business unit, closely collaborating with both teams.

Joining Originals means exploring new forms of multimedia experiences in unique locations and contributing to the creation of innovative entertainment models deployed worldwide. You’ll participate in crafting immersive experiences like the magical forests Lumina, Aura shows, and more! Your team transforms locations into one-of-a-kind, long-lasting experiences that deeply impact visitors. Together, you'll create iconic destinations that not only attract audiences and enhance spaces but also generate media buzz and economic benefits.

YOUR MISSION

You will be responsible for planning and delivering visual content projects with a strategic, human-centered, and detail-oriented approach. As a Project Manager, you’ll lead each phase—from concept to delivery—coordinating creative, technical, and production teams.

You will select the best-suited methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid) based on project needs, while optimizing resources, processes, and production costs. You’ll be the main connector between all stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring clear and structured communication.

With a solutions-driven mindset and the ability to mobilize talent at the right time, you bring together artistic sensibility, analytical thinking, and curiosity for new forms of visual content (pre-rendered and real-time) to advance ambitious projects with rigor and creativity.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Project Planning and Scoping
  • Participate in needs analysis, and help define project goals and deliverables in collaboration with the project team.
  • Contribute to the structuring of production steps, schedule creation, and selection of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid).
  • Oversee and update the Statement of Work (SOW), including communication of any changes to budget, scope, or timeline.
  • Assess the feasibility and profitability of content creation based on expressed needs.
  • Identify potential risks and propose appropriate solutions with creative and technical teams.
  • Resource and Talent Management
  • Help assign and optimize internal resources in collaboration with the casting office.
  • Research, recommend, and contract the best external resources (freelancers, studios, subcontractors) in collaboration with the procurement team.
  • Effectively manage tasks, work hours, and workloads for internal and external resources, respecting budgets and project scope.
  • Supervising Visual Content Production (Pre-rendered & Real-Time)
  • Oversee production teams (2D, 3D, post-production, real-time engines, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of visual assets.
  • Supervise production coordinators to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Proactively monitor project progress with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Oversight and Delivery (Content Production)
  • Be the guardian of the project management triangle (budget, time, scope) and support teams in making informed decisions.
  • Plan and organize all necessary activities to ensure successful project delivery, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.
  • Actively participate in resolving technical, human, creative, or operational challenges.
  • Optimization, Strategy, and Continuous Improvement
  • Determine the most efficient production approaches given the constraints and ambitions of the project.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to improve processes, task distribution, and content creation methods.
  • Help simplify internal workflows to maximize productivity.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of tracking and management tools.
  • Communication, Collaboration, and Outreach
  • Maintain clear communication with clients when required.
  • Develop and maintain a professional network in key areas of visual content.
  • Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing, and engaged team environment.
  • Build strong relationships with other departments at Moment Factory to ensure interdisciplinary coherence across projects.
YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES
  • College and/or university degree in production, TV post-production, audiovisual, project management, interactive media, or a related field.
  • Professional fluency in French and English, spoken and written (you’ll need to communicate in English with internal and external collaborators).
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in visual content production including 2D/3D motion design, 2D/3D animation, VFX, and live action.
  • Experience in multimedia production (pre-rendered, generative, and real-time visual content, interactive/immersive spaces, shows like Aura, The Messi Experience, etc.).
  • Experience with real-time content production (Unreal, Unity, TouchDesigner, etc.).
  • Interest in new technologies and production methods.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience creating budgets/estimates.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and trends (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
  • Familiarity with 2D, 3D, and real-time content creation tools.
  • Knowledge of Flow project management software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Wrike, and Confluence is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in the field of AI.
YOUR QUALITIES
  • Inspiring leadership: Ability to unite, motivate, and empower a multidisciplinary team around a common goal.
  • Organizational rigor: Skilled in structuring projects and managing timelines, resources, and documentation.
  • Strategic and hands-on mindset: Able to balance big-picture thinking with detailed task tracking.

  • Negotiation skills: Experience managing suppliers and external talent, with a strategic yet human approach to building strong partnerships.

  • Solution-oriented: Naturally seeks practical solutions to technical, human, or organizational challenges.
  • Technical curiosity: Interest in interactive technologies and ability to understand the realities of creative production teams.
  • Artistic sensibility: A keen eye for aesthetics and artistic coherence in projects, with strong appreciation for visual and narrative worlds.
  • Collaborative spirit: Enjoys teamwork and connecting various areas of expertise.

  • Work outside regular office hours and occasional travel.
