HCLTech is seeking a Content Producer for their Social Media team. In this role, you will develop and create engaging content across platforms like Instagram and TikTok, bringing client campaigns to life. Candidates should possess strong design and video editing skills, with at least 3 years of social media experience, and a passion for keeping up with trends.
Summary : As a Content Producer on client’s Social Media team, you will play a critical role in developing and creating content for client. You will collaborate closely with Mobility and Delivery leads to bring new products, partnerships, campaigns, owned programming, and events to life on client’s global channels. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong iPhone shooting and editing abilities, an eye for graphic design, thumb-stopping content ideas, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education / Experience : Candidates should have at least 3 years of proven social media experience with a deep understanding of the major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and their respective audiences, features, and best practices. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of proven social media experience, as well as excellent graphic design and video editing experience. Experience with influencer, creator, and talent management is also a plus.
Skills and Competencies : The ideal candidate will be an outstanding graphic designer and video shooter who can capture and create high-quality content with intent and edit seamlessly, regardless of the subject. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or Capcut for video editing and Canva or Photoshop for graphic creation is required. Comfortability on camera and being featured in social content is essential. The candidate should live and breathe social media, keeping up with trends, sounds, and best practices to stay “in-the-know.” Additionally, they should be a creative strategist who can spot trends from a mile away, a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and a team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities : In this role, you will brainstorm social-first content to support client campaigns. You will shoot, edit, and create original content (both videos and graphics) for new products, partnerships, campaigns, and initiatives that will live on client handles. Staying up to date with social media trends, sounds, and best practices will be key to ensuring content is relevant and engaging. You will search for user-generated content, evergreen ideas, viral moments, and other brands’ posts to bring fresh ideas to team meetings. Additionally, you will be featured in videos that will live on social channels and support relationships with key influencers and creators across categories when needed.
