About the Role

Are you passionate about creating compelling content and eager to kickstart your career in marketing? Join our Secure Communications Integrated Marketing team as a Content Marketing Student and develop hands-on experience driving impactful content strategies at BlackBerry. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic and supportive team, sharpen your skills in content research, creation, social media, and analytics, and contribute to meaningful projects that shape how we engage with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Write and edit core content for our Secure Communications solutions.
  • Craft blog posts, web content, social media updates to captivate our target audience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor content to business needs and audience preferences.
  • Proofread and edit all content to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines.

Research & Insights

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, target demographics, and competitors to inform and refine content strategies.
  • Stay updated with emerging marketing tactics and tools to maintain a competitive edge.

SEO Optimization

  • Learn and apply the latest SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for search visibility and performance.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor content performance using data-driven tools like Google Analytics.
  • Report on key success metrics and provide recommendations for strategy enhancements.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Partner with other writers, designers, videographers, and other team members to create compelling multimedia assets.
  • Communicate cross-functionally within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Email Marketing

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of email campaigns that align with marketing goals.

Required Skills

  • Attention to Detail: Skilled at catching errors in grammar, spelling, and formatting before publication.
  • Strong Social Media Skills: Familiarity with LinkedIn and X platforms, and Social Media Management tools like Sprout Social.
  • AI Tools Experience (a bonus): Interest or experience in using AI tools to enhance content creation.

Educational Background

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or Business.
