Job summary

Postmedia Network Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to produce long-form B2B blog articles and guide the content strategy across national and local clients.

You will collaborate with Sales, SMEs and other teams to drive demand, grow brand awareness and position Postmedia as a trusted media partner through written content and digital campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in content marketing, blog production, or a related field.
• Degree in Journalism or similar.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
• Ability to produce a steady stream of content and measure its success.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit original blog articles and edit/proofread content created by freelance writers.
• Maintain and apply SEO/AEO/GEO best practices.
• Work with stakeholders to develop a content strategy for multiple lines of business.
• Execute multi-channel content initiatives across multiple formats and platforms.
• Leverage SEO, email marketing, and various content formats to attract target audiences.
• Manage a network of freelance writers for supplementary content development needs.
• Understand and articulate end customers’ needs/uses and key requirements.
• Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Manage content calendars in alignment with strategic direction.
• Ensure all content is on brand and in tone of voice for the audience.
• Identify content opportunities by tracking industry trends and feedback.
• Report on results, learnings, and next steps regularly.
• Work within Postmedia tools: HubSpot, SEMRush, Social publishing tools, Wordpress.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to produce long-form B2B blog articles and manage the content strategy to drive leads, thought leadership, and client engagement. This individual will play a key role in bringing the Postmedia Solutions brand, business priorities, and content strategy to life through compelling written content and digital campaigns, targeted to national and local clients. Working closely with Sales, SMEs, and other lines of business, you will be exceptionally skilled at working in an innovative, fast-paced environment to help drive demand, increase brand awareness, and position Postmedia as a trusted media partner.

What you’ll do:

• Work within the Postmedia toolset: HubSpot, SEMRush, Social publishing tools, Wordpress.

Who you are:

• 3-5 years experience in content marketing, blog production, or a related field.
• Degree in Journalism or similar.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
• Ability to produce a steady stream of content and measure its success.
• Self‑starter attitude, excellent time management and project prioritization skills, and ability to navigate difficult situations with effective communication skills.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work with AI platforms.
• Working knowledge of search engine marketing tools.
• Customer‑centric with a solid understanding of analytics.
