Position: Content Marketer (12 months)

Compensation Details :

• Marketing Generalist 17 : Salaries typically range from $83,037 to $110,717 annually, based on qualifications and experiences.

Location:

• Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, currently requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week. (subject to change)
• This role can be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa.

Team Overview:

EDC is seeking a talented and creative B2B Content Writer to join our dynamic marketing team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can conduct thorough research to obtain factual information and authentic details to produce high-quality written material.

What you will be doing:

• Conduct research to obtain factual information and authentic details to create accurate and engaging written material.
• Develop content to promote EDC’s financial products.
• Produce written copy in the form of articles, success stories, case studies, landing pages, and other promotional materials to promote our products.
• Ensure all copy is clear, concise, and adheres to brand guidelines while maintaining a consistent tone and voice.
• Manage digital copydecks to ensure specifications are met for story text and photos.
• Manage relationships with vendors, internal clients, and subject matter experts to create effective promotional materials.
• Leverage GEN AI to support the development of identified content.
• Oversee publication research, production, translation, and web development to adhere to deadlines and budget requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role in a B2B environment.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong research skills and the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with GEN AI tools and their application in content development is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven record of Inbound Marketing program / Experience in content creation and storytelling on digital platforms
• Portfolio of B2B content creation

• Customer (Exporter) focus with particular emphasis on digital journey and experience (digital literacy)
