Overview

Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Content Designer for an initial 6 months of contract with a possibility of extension / conversion. The role is hybrid in nature with 2 days in the office in Toronto. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging and effective content for various digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Work as an integral part of project team comprising product managers, visual designers, user experience designers, QA testers, developers, and project managers.
• Participate actively in regular project team meetings and reviews to contribute insights and collaborate effectively.
• Strategically plan content by working with content designers from other Investor's Edge projects
• Collaborate closely with visual and UX designers to determine optimal copy placement within designed page

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Content Designer specializing in Content / conversational design or UX writing.
• Demonstrated expertise in content strategy and execution, particularly in UX writing roles.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, including experience working with product owners and vendors.
• Some experience in writing for digital platforms, with a portfolio showcasing relevant samples.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience working in an agile environment, facilitating seamless collaboration and iterative development.
• Knowledge of software / website development processes and terminology.
• Familiarity with financial services, preferably with brokerage or investment knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strategically plan content by working with content designers from other Investor's Edge projects.
