A dynamic content design company in Toronto is seeking a skilled Content Designer to develop user-centered content strategies for digital products. This role involves collaboration within a cross-functional team and requires 4+ years of experience in UX writing and content strategy. The position is hybrid, requiring 3-4 days onsite, starting as a 6-month contract with potential for extension.
We’re looking for aContent Designer to help shape user experiences through thoughtful, human-centered content design. You’ll play a key role in crafting product copy, UX flows, microcopy, and content frameworks across complex digital platforms used by millions.
This is a collaborative, high-impact role embedded within a cross-functional product design team. You'll partner with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to solve problems with language — from discovery through delivery. Located in Toronto, Ontario - must be able to work 3-4 days a week onsite - this is a hybrid role!
Design and implement end-to-end content strategies across digital products.
Write UX copy that supports intuitive, user-friendly experiences for web and mobile.
Translate complex workflows into simple, actionable content.
Develop and maintain voice, tone, and content standards across teams and products.
Build content guidelines, frameworks, and reusable content patterns.
Define taxonomy, metadata, and labeling systems to support content discoverability.
Use data and research to inform decisions and continuously optimize content.
Collaborate with research to validate content through usability testing and feedback loops.
Lead efforts in accessibility, localization, and inclusive language best practices.
Work with stakeholders to establish scalable content governance models.
4+ years in UX writing, content strategy, or product content design.
Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
Skilled at writing for clarity, context, and conversion.
Able to balance brand voice with functional UX needs.
Comfortable working within design systems and tooling like Figma, Jira, or Notion.
Strong grasp of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
Confident working autonomously on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience with content performance tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar) and SEO fundamentals is a plus.
