Job summary

The Resilient Group is seeking a creative Content Creator & Videographer in Vancouver to plan, film, edit, and produce high-quality video content across its portfolio of companies. You’ll work directly with the CEO to craft authentic thought leadership and personal branding content while supporting marketing initiatives across multiple brands.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of videography, a strong storytelling portfolio, and proficiency in industry-standard editing tools.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional videography and content creation experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling and high-quality video production.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and After Effects, is considered an asset.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms and digital content best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between company locations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Create short-form and long-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and company websites.
  • Capture professional photography for marketing, branding, events, and internal communications.
  • Develop engaging visual content that aligns with each company's brand identity.
  • Work directly with the CEO to create authentic and engaging thought leadership content.
  • Film interviews, behind-the-scenes content, company updates, speaking engagements, and educational videos.
  • Assist in developing creative concepts and content ideas to grow the CEO's online presence.
  • Edit and optimize content for various social media platforms.
  • Produce marketing videos across The Resilient Group's portfolio of companies.
  • Capture customer testimonials, employee spotlights, recruitment videos, project showcases, and product demonstrations.
  • Support company events through photography and videography.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to bring marketing campaigns and initiatives to life.
  • Manage all aspects of video production, including planning, filming, lighting, audio, and post-production.
  • Edit footage using professional editing software to create polished and engaging content.
  • Add graphics, captions, music, transitions, and motion elements where appropriate.
  • Organize and maintain digital media assets and video libraries.
  • Contribute ideas for new content and campaigns.
  • Stay current on social media trends and emerging content formats.
  • Recommend new techniques and creative approaches to improve audience engagement.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative and driven Content Creator & Videographer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling through video and wants to play a key role in building multiple brands, including the personal brand of our CEO.

Position Overview

The Content Creator & Videographer will be responsible for planning, capturing, editing, and producing engaging video and visual content across The Resilient Group's portfolio of companies.

This role will work closely with our CEO to create thought leadership and personal branding content while also supporting the marketing initiatives of our various businesses. The successful candidate is creative, highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
  • Plan, film, edit, and produce high-quality video content for digital and social media platforms.
  • Create short-form and long-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and company websites.
  • Capture professional photography for marketing, branding, events, and internal communications.
  • Develop engaging visual content that aligns with each company's brand identity.
CEO Personal Branding
  • Work directly with the CEO to create authentic and engaging thought leadership content.
