About the Role :

Hive Media Group is seeking a highly motivated Content Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate lives and breathes viral-type stories, breaking news, & web culture. You will be managing large amounts of digital content, analyzing trends, and actively participating in discussions of content strategy while adapting to changing digital landscapes.

The role requires attention to detail; including fact-checking and citing sources, while moving quickly to meet ambitious publishing goals. Accountability is key– the person in this role must take ownership of quality and correctness as the final eyes on digital content before it's published to large audiences.

  • This is a full-time, Hybrid position in London,ON

Responsibilities :

  • Curate and identify our best and highest-performing stories for expanded use.
  • Use of AI tools to support content production
  • Revise published articles with new information as needed.
  • Ensure content meets platform requirements for both guidelines and formatting;
  • Analyze performance trends of published articles in terms of content type, subject, and other key metrics.
  • Manage a high level of content output requirements on a daily basis.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports.
  • Other Duties as required .

Skill Requirements :

  • New graduate with up to 1 year of experience.
  • Has the ability to quickly manage high volumes of content.
  • Comfort with AI tools to enhance efficiency, creatives, and research. Prior experience using ChatGPT or other AI tools considered an asset;
  • Has an eye for attention-grabbing image selection and click-worthy headlines. Photo Editing / Design abilities needed.
  • Able to continuously meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Extremely organized with close attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent command of spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • A collaborative, resourceful attitude
  • Experience in digital publishing is an asset to this role but not a requirement.
