Reporting to the Content Director, the Content Coordinator combines strong project management, digital execution, and grammar savviness to manage our various content marketing projects as needed.
You are action-oriented, deadline-driven, and excel at multi-tasking. The successful individual must be self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a desire to thrive in a high-paced growth environment while interacting collaboratively with various team members.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Project Management
- Coordinate various content deliverables from inception to completion, ensuring quality control standards and deadlines are met.
- Work within a digital project management tool to request deliverables from the creative team, fulfilling needs for various content pieces such as internal communications, website pages, and social media posts.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to intake projects, provide strategic insight, and relay updates as needed.
Content Development & Editing
- Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand voice.
- Assist in creating multimedia content (e.g., images, videos) in collaboration with creative teams.
- Conduct research to generate new content ideas and ensure relevance to the audience.
- Ensure all communication and materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and values.
Digital Analysis
- Work with various digital reporting platforms to ensure quality and performance of content.
- Assist in the execution and tracking of content performance across various channels.
- Participate in quality assurance tests for webpages, portals, and apps.
- Maintain hygiene of digital platforms by monitoring content, updating email marketing lists, etc.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Demonstrable experience working with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience working with social, content, or marketing automation tools (e.g., Hubspot, Sprout Social, etc.); certifications are considered a major asset.
- Ability to execute on tasks and solve problems independently.
- Can work to timelines under pressure while maintaining composure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Cheerful and professional disposition with a good sense of humour.
- Passionate about learning and expanding necessary knowledge and skillset within the social media and thought leadership realm.
