We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, tech-savvy Content Coordinator to join our Content Operations team and help ensure the consistent and accurate delivery of content across multiple services. This is a highly process-driven role that requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a love for working behind the scenes to make things run smoothly. You’ll be part of a collaborative, detail-focused team that ensures the behind-the-scenes work of content delivery is done right.
Work Schedule : This role is based on a standard full-time schedule (Monday to Friday, regular business hours). However, due to the nature of our work, there may be times when flexibility is required to provide support during evenings and weekends. We aim to provide as much notice as possible for any such requirements, and additional hours will be managed in compliance with applicable employment standards legislation.
We're looking for someone with:
● Previous roles in content operations, digital publishing, media delivery, Quality Assurance, or data coordination.
● A background in media production, computer science, library sciences, information management, technical writing, or similar fields.
● Experience working in structured environments with lots of processes, such as broadcasting, post-production, QA testing, or tech support.
● Critical thinking skills who can perform under pressure while being able to work independently as well as in a larger team.
Key Duties will include:
● Execute complex workflows inside a content management system (CMS) to prepare, schedule, and publish content to our platforms.
● Follow detailed multi-step procedures with precision—no steps skipped, no loose ends.
● Processing digital assets such as video, image, and subtitle files, and metadata by uploading and encoding them using the content management system (CMS)
● Assess new assets to ensure they meet APMC’s delivery expectations
● Ensure content assets go through all quality assurance procedures before launching content on our services
● Assist with asset audits to ensure all content meets our current standards
● Work with multiple teams to process assets for our platforms
● Maintain Quality Assurance results, content updates, and more within CMS and CRM tools
● Maintain Safe Streaming TM and third party standards by following all procedures within the content release system
● Track and document work to maintain consistency and support team knowledge sharing.
What you need to SUCCEED:
● Strong experience working in a CMS or doing detailed data entry in a digital content environment.
● Technologically proficient—comfortable navigating new systems and learning and retaining tasks/processes.
● A strong memory for process and details, with a natural ability to spot inconsistencies.
● Extremely detail oriented as you will be responsible for ensuring incoming content assets are processed and launched on the platform correctly
● Effective communication skills and ability to consistently keep your team up-to-date on projects
● A critical thinker who maintains attention to detail across multiple priorities
● High level of organization and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines
● Able to work independently and as a part of a larger team
● Experience using the Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel) for daily workflow, collaboration, and documentation.
● Strong organizational skills and comfort working independently on repetitive tasks without losing focus.
Additional Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
● Experience using the command line (CLI) on macOS, including the AWS CLI tools.
● Familiarity with FFmpeg or other media processing tools.
● A basic understanding of media formats and file delivery best practices.
