About the Role

Outway is looking for a highly creative and outgoing Content & Community Manager to join our fast-moving marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Content and working closely with the CMO (and occasionally the CEO), this role is all about building real connection—through video, storytelling, and community engagement. This role is remote-first, but ideally able to travel to Victoria, BC once a month.

You’ll be the engine behind our organic presence, responsible for social media, community-building, ambassador relationships, UGC, and brand events. Your job? Bring Outway to life online and in the real world.

What You’ll Own

  • Social Media: Run our organic strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and more
  • Video Creation: Be both behind and in front of the camera—planning, shooting, editing, and publishing native content
  • UGC: Source, curate, and amplify high-quality user-generated content
  • Ambassador Program: Manage and grow our ambassador network with meaningful two-way engagement
  • Community Building: Own the relationship with our audience through comments, DMs, challenges, meetups, and more
  • Events & IRL Activations: Plan and execute small brand events, group runs, or pop-ups in key markets
  • Influencer Collabs: Coordinate with micro-influencers and creators who align with our brand
  • Brand Voice: Maintain consistency and personality in all content and communications

  • You’re highly creative, self-starting, and deeply plugged into social and cultural trends
  • You’re confident on camera, and know how to create content that resonates and converts
  • You’re fast—with ideas, execution, and posting. You don’t overthink, you just make
  • You live an active lifestyle and naturally embody the Outway mindset of resilience and movement
  • You’re organized and detail-oriented, even when juggling multiple projects
  • You’ve created content professionally (or for yourself) that’s gained traction
  • You know how to build and maintain community, not just collect followers
