Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Environmental Scientist specializing in Contaminated Sites for our Edmonton office. This role involves gaining experience through diverse projects related to soil and water remediation, site assessments, and environmental investigations. The position offers opportunities for professional development within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct soil, water, vapor, and groundwater investigations and analyze laboratory data.
  • Perform field services for site investigations and spill responses.
  • Complete Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, including research and interviews.
  • Prepare technical reports and liaise with clients, labs, and contractors.
  • Assist in proposal development.
Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in contaminated sites within environmental consulting or research.
  • Willingness to work in remote field locations.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to follow directions and take initiative.
  • Valid driver’s license; registration with a professional organization in Alberta is an asset.
  • Experience with GIS is an asset.
