Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Canada is seeking a Contact Center Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain IVR and UI/API automation using Java-based tools.

You will deliver automated test suites across UI and APIs, automate agent desktop tasks, and contribute to a lean, agile delivery model. Ideal candidates bring strong experience with Cyara or similar platforms, experience in a scaled Agile environment, and comfort with Bitbucket/Git, JIRA, Confluence, and IDEs such as IntelliJ or

Qualifications

• Expertise in Contact Center platforms.
• IVR/Routing Automation using Cyara, Hammer, etc.
• Automation testing across UI and APIs (Selenium, Postman, Karate, etc. – any of them)
• Agent Desktop Automation
• Core Java
• Provide technical leadership for maintenance releases, enhancements, and ongoing support activities
• Familiarity with tools like Bitbucket/Git, JIRA, Confluence, IDEs (IntelliJ/Eclipse), etc.
• Experience working in a structured scaled Agile environment

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance releases and enhancements for contact center automation.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setup to deliver iterations.
• Guide implementation of IVR and UI/API automation solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and review code across automation projects.
