Position Details : This role involves purchasing sales finance contracts from franchise automobile dealerships. The analyst will review applications to determine eligibility based on automated credit system underwriting standards. The work schedule is five days a week, 8 hours per day, between Monday and Saturday, from 9 AM to 8 PM.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Review and decide on loan applications meeting underwriting standards, ensuring high service quality to internal and external customers.
• Balance demands of Production, Sales Support, Risk, and Quality Assessments.
• Build and maintain proactive relationships with automobile dealers.
• Foster positive relationships with peers and DFMs.
• Provide backup support for team members and assist the Special Credit team with funding issues.
• Mentor and train junior Credit Analysts as needed.

Qualifications

Work Experience :

• 2 to 5 years of Credit Analyst experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of funding, credit scoring, and credit review processes.

Education & Certification :

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

• Thorough understanding of credit analysis and loan documentation.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Coaching and feedback abilities.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
