Job summary

Walmart Canada in Trois-Rivières, QC is seeking a Consumables Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, stock merchandise, and assist shoppers on the sales floor, ensuring a safe, clean store.

You will help with shelf replenishment, assist at checkout, coordinate with teammates, and maintain organized backrooms. Minimum age 16+, starting wage $18.75 per hour CAD. Warranty of health and safety practices is expected.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers politely, promoting products and services, helping customers locate merchandise and assist with purchasing decisions, addressing issues as needed.
• Cover designated sections in the sales floor area.
• Perform area zoning for assigned sections.
• Move featured items to their main display.
• Return merchandise left at the customer service counter to their shelves and other areas of the store.
• Assist with covering the checkout area.
• Coordinate with other associates to maintain checkout coverage.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and obstacle-free workplace by following company guidelines and recording safety sweeps, ensuring displays are secure.
• Stock and unstock merchandise and assortments; install security devices and set up new shelves and modules.
