Position Summary

Working as a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. The Consumables Associate is a customer service champion who contributes to the high-volume, fast-paced flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor. This role involves working as part of a team to stock and process merchandise and assist customers with their shopping needs, all in a safe and clean environment. What you'll do

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and helping them make purchase decisions.
3. Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management when appropriate.
4. Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing, and pricing merchandise.
5. Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per company policies and procedures.
6. Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and handle required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
7. Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
8. Stock merchandise, pick, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, and set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.55. The rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
