In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we provide deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients worldwide. Our delivery centers offer locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and technology adoption.

Your role and responsibilities

The resource will be responsible for a telco's ordering platform, a highly multi-threaded custom J2EE Web application, involving J2EE SOA and a customized Sterling CPQ-based product configuration platform. Responsibilities include configuration, setup, maintenance, and monitoring of the application and its backends like the CPQ database [DB2]. The role involves prioritizing and investigating enhancements, which may include J2EE development, log analysis, JVM configuration, and deployment/configuration management. Reviewing and approving technical assessments and translating technical solutions into business benefits are also key tasks. The role requires providing technical support to team members, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of the platform.
