Consultant/Senior Consultant, Value Creation & Analytics
Join BDO Canada as a Consultant/Senior Consultant, Value Creation & Analytics in our Toronto office within the Financial Advisory Services team.
Our Strategy, Value Creation & Analytics practice helps companies drive profitable growth and improve financial and operational performance through practical, data-driven initiatives. We support clients in critical situations such as M&A transactions, business transformation, growth, or recovery.
The team focuses on projects like:
- Performance improvement and turnaround
- Revenue growth and margin enhancement
- Cost reduction and working capital optimization
- Strategy and business planning
- Process improvement and operating model design
- M&A due diligence, integration, and carve-out planning
Your responsibilities will include:
- Research and analyze client, industry, and market performance to develop strategies
- Assist in financial analysis and modeling
- Participate in client meetings and gather information
- Contribute to report and presentation development
- Collaborate with team members and support project delivery
- Develop expertise in project areas
- Support sales, business development, and marketing activities
- Identify opportunities for client service improvements
- Contribute to the growth of the practice

Qualifications include:
- Undergraduate degree with excellent academic record
- Professional designations (CPA, P.Eng, Lean Six Sigma) or Master’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years relevant experience in strategy, financial analysis, or management consulting
- Interest in sustainability and ESG is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, financial modeling, data analytics, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, ChatGPT, Notion)
- Motivated, detail-oriented, autonomous, and adaptable
- Willing to travel as needed
